Hi from Portland, Oregon!

After a career full of writing for strategy, this is a place where I intentionally don’t have one. I write here when I experience themes in moments that made me pause, laugh in recognition, or feel closer to something true. Those moments are inseparable from the work I do.

The full “why” of this blog, and my work as a whole, is best explained in my first post pinned below (A Place To Start), but in a nutshell: I want to give what I have, encourage and celebrate human-ness in any setting, and amplify things that connect us and light us up (hence “tend the sparks”).
